Reese Witherspoon is reportedly finally engaged with her ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star beau Jake Gyllenhaal, whom she has been dating since 2007, after she previously revealed she was not ready to tie a knot again.

The Four Christmases actress, who divorced with her former husband Ryan Phillippe and was humiliated and isolated after the divorce, was recently noticed wearing an engagement ring when she arrived at Sony Studios in Culver City, California, to shoot an Avon commercial, according to Star magazine.

A source told the mag, “It was gorgeous, and everyone noticed it right away.

“But she took it off as soon as she saw people staring. Reese stuffed it in her bag and didn’t put it on again the rest of the day.

“There was already word out that she and Jake had gotten engaged, so the ring absolutely confirmed everybody’s suspicions.”

“Jake and Reese want to get married sooner rather than later,” an insider added. “They’ve been playing house for far too long, and they’re ready to make it official!”

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon has revealed her unique ambitions – to be invisible.

The 32-year-old actress and mother to two children, who lends her voice in new 3D animation film Monster Vs Aliens, said she could have superpower, she would want to be invisible.

She said, “It would be nice to have just every superpower, why do I have to choose just one?! I would probably choose invisibility, it would be nice to escape out of certain situations and of course spy on people.”

While her Monsters Vs Aliens co-star Kiefer Sutherland wish he could fly if he was a superhero.

He said, “I would have to say I would love to fly and I hope that I would use it for good. I would fly everywhere and I wouldn’t stop.”
