Paris Hilton, who was reportedly tried to flirt with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, is said to be desperate to get a role in the second Twilight, New Moon, according to Star magazine.

“Paris is desperate because people take it seriously as an actress. She thinks it would be perfect for playing one of the vampires,” another source told the magazine. “She is even willing to be a victim – she just wants to come.”

The 28-year-old blonde socialite won three Razzi awards this year from two films – Repo! The Genetic Opera and The Hottie and The Nott, so the chance to be cast for Twilight epic seems to be impossible.

A source added, “She has put her handler to call the agent talent to lobby for a role for it [the film].”

Although Paris has missed the role in Twilight, she nearly gets her new best friend from her reality show ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BFF’.

Emma Beard, 24, who is likely to win the show, said, “It is so exciting. In the final show there are conflicts, drama and life changing experiences.

“It’s something I have to do. It’s one of the most scary but one of the biggest things I have done in my life.”

Meanwhile, a man was arrested when trying to sell Paris Hilton’s lost cellphone on the internet.

Paris had lost her phone when partying at Manhattan nightclub Marquee almost four years ago and it was later found by hotel manager Marc Marrouche’s ex-girlfriend, according to the New York Post.

The 30-year-old New York hotel manager put the phone on sell on website Craigslist and was caught on March 5 after an undercover cop pretended to be a buyer and offered 5,000 dollars for the instrument.

He has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property and could be sentenced one year in prison if found guilty.
