Natalie Imbruglia naked for anti-fur PETA Campaign

Natalie Imbruglia is the latest star who has signed PETA to shoot a nude in its advert to be against the use of animal fur, after Pink, Jamie-Lee Curtis and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The Torn hitmaker appears naked and her breasts are covered by a white rabbit named Topsy in the advertisement which helps convince people that even ‘little fur trim’ can harms animals.

Stripping on the PETA ad is not the first time that the Australian singer took action being against using real fur after she said she would never use fur and slammed Jennifer Lopez in the interview with Britain’s Cosmopolitan in 2005.

The 33-year-old singer and actress says, “There is no kind way to rip the skin off animals’ backs. In the wild, animals are caught in snares and steel-jaw traps that slam down on their limbs-they often cut down to the bone and mutilate animals’ legs and paws, and that kind of torture is a part of every piece of fur we see.”

“Anyone who wears any fur shares the blame for the torture and gruesome deaths of millions of animals each year.” she added.

The ad, which features the former face of L’Oreal Natalie, a rabbit and a sentiment ‘Try telling him it’s just a little fur trim’, was photographer by renowned photographer Karl Grant and made in London.

Natalie Imbruglia was said to be ’so excited’ about being a part of the campaign, according to a PETA spokeswoman.

The anti-fur campaign has attracted several superstars including Naomi Campbell who swore she would never use fur when she joined other original models in the same campaign which caused headlines and coverage worldwide. However, she is regualrly spotted wearing fur on and off the runways.

Please do not wear fur, so Topsy will be a happy fluffy bunny
