Katie Holmes has finally been able to cope with her mummy duties to her two-year-old daughter Suri, her career and Broadway production, and her wife duties to her handsome hunk husband Tom Cruise. She credits Jada Pinkette Smith for being an inspiration.

The Batman Begins actress tells People of her close friend Jada Pinkette Smith, “Jada is so strong. She is a rare woman – a phenomenal friend, mother, wife. She inspires me.”

As for her superstar hubby turned Scientology weirdo Tom Cruise, Kate Holmes added, “Jada tells it like it is. She creates art in her life … She’s effortless. She just has such class.”

Jada, who described Kate as a tigress who ‘runs the show’ at home, says the Holmes and the Smiths are close because they “have a real understanding. In what we do and where we are, there aren’t many people you meet who are living on a parallel line … who can understand the pressures.”

Tom Cruise, 46, praises Jada for being a great woman that despite her insanely tight schedule, the 37-year-old actress still takes her children and husband her priority.

“She is an extraordinary woman and an amazing mother,” Toms says. “She’s constantly wanting to improve herself and her family.” Agrees Kate, “She’s just a powerhouse.”

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes will mark their second wedding anniversary tomorrow (November 18). Some says it has been a strange two years since their marvellous wedding in a castle in Italy.

Kate is said not be really happy with her marriage life with Tom but the only reason she still stays with Tom is their little girl Suri.

“Life with Tom is not what Katie thought it would be,” a pal reveals. “Had they just dated a couple of years, I think they would have split up by now.”

Another friend says, “Their relationship is not perfect.”
