Kate Bosworth is said to have been on her own after not having been spotted being in public with her model boyfriend James Rousseau these days.

The ‘Superman Returns’ actress has been dating her British boy toy model boyfriend for three years but the rumours of them breaking up has been sparked when they have not seen out together in the past month.

Asked if Kate is back to be on her own again, her spokesman says they are still together, while her pals reveal that she has already ended her relationship with James but been trying to keep her split a secret.

“Kate dumped James a month ago following fights over their work schedules,” a source said about the Blue Crush star.

Another source added, “She has insisted on remaining in Los Angeles to further her career but he loves England and didn’t want to move to LA. Kate is now telling friends she’s ready to date again.”

Kate Bosworth, who met James Rousseau at the Marc Jacobs party, started dating him in 2006 just shortly after she broke up with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom.

Before dating The Lord of the Rings star, Kate dated actor Matt Czuchry after the two met on the set of TV series ‘Young Americans’.

Kate, who rose to prominent with a leading role in 2002 Blue Crush, became a controversial issue in 2006 when she made an appearance with her shocking skinny body. She led the trend of thin figures among young Hollywood celebrities but she turned to her healthy weight again in 2007 before becoming a new face of Calvin Klein Jeans and spokeswoman for Coach newest luxury bag.

James Rousseau is an English model and musician who wrote a song about Kate called ‘To Make You Mine.’
