Jessica Simpson is said to be turned down by world golf no 1 Tiger Woods after asking him to give her a golf lesson.

According to many blogs, the 28-year-old American singer is keen to take part on the green as she wants to spend more time with her NFL star beau Tony Romo, who is taking golf seriously.

A source told In Touch Weekly, “Jessica is taking (golf) seriously. She even asked if Tiger Woods would give her some pointers, but he’s been busy with his new baby.”

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson has been told by her father to end the relationship with her Dallas Cowboys quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo, according to new reports.

Although Jessica’s daddy Joe Simpson was initially supportive of the romance between his daughter and her sporting star beau, his thoughts have been changed after he realises Tony turns to be a distraction for Jessica.

A source told American tabloid the National Enquirer, “Joe now feels that Tony has become too much of a distraction for Jessica.

“Any free time she has, Jess wants to spend with Tony. But rather than blaming his daughter’s work ethic, Joe points the finger at Tony.

“He wants Tony out of her life, but Jessica loves him and won’t even consider leaving him at this point.

“But if Jessica had her druthers, she’d be married and pregnant. Her main concern is getting Tony to settle down and commit.”

The ‘Where You Are’ songstress suggested women to let go of abusive relationships during her gig in Phoenix yesterday (March 19).

She advised, “It doesn’t matter how he hurts you/With his hands or with his words/You don’t deserve it.”

“In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there [in the relationship],” she told the crowd at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion. “No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away.”
