Jessica Biel‘s father Stephen Collins revealed he had no idea his daughter Jessica was in relationship with her pop star beau Justin Timberlake a couple of years ago when they began dating.

Stephen is not even sure if Jessica is already engaged but he would not mind Justin as her fiancé.

He told the New York Daily News, “I didn’t hear that (they were rumoured to be engaged), but then again, I didn’t even know they were together two years ago when they started dating.

“I was walking a red carpet and someone said, ‘So what do you think of Jessica Biel and JT (Timberlake)?’ I didn’t even know who JT was! “I saw Jessie a few weeks ago and she just seems really happy, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they were (engaged), Justin just seems like a really nice boy,” he added.

Meanwhile, Justin, who dated singer Britney Spears and actress Cameron Diaz, seems to be deeply in love with his girlfriend Jessica Biel, insisting he has been lucky to have her.

The ‘Sexy Back’ singer told Hello, “I have been very lucky to find a woman as dynamic and loving as Jessica. I now realize how beautiful it can be to have someone incredible to share life with.

“We do pretty much everything we want to do. Sometimes we get spotted by the paparazzi but usually we can find a quiet place to eat and no one will bother us. It can be distracting but you learn to keep walking and pay no attention.”

He continued, “We get along so well. The first thing we noticed when we started going out is how easily we made each other laugh. Sometimes when you meet someone it feels right from the beginning. She has a very engaging personality and we have a natural way of being together. I’m a lucky guy.”
