Eva Mendes wishes she could join Obama in the White House

Eva Mendes is really upset when she has failed to have a ticket to U.S. president-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration in the White House.

Despite her fame in Hollywood showbiz, the Ghost Rider actress is not entitled to easily get an opportunity to join the latest American president in his inauguration in the White House, Washington D.C.

The 34-year-old Cuban beauty is one of the big fans of Obama and become unsatisfied when she has been turned down for ‘the hottest ticket’ to witness Obama’s swearing in ceremony, which will take place next year on January 20.

The actress tells Access Hollywood, “Hottest ticket party in townA? I thought I had some pull – I usually do, and I’ve been shut down. It’s the hardest party to get into.”

Although she has failed in the first time, Eva has said she would make another attempt to be a part of the historical event.

She adds, “We are still working on it, but I understand the whole thing. They don’t want to make (it) a celebrity studded event because I understand this in an extremely crucial time in our history and in our world right now. And I understand not wanting to make (it) a star-studded event; I completely understand that. But of course, I would love to go and be there.”

The ceremony must be full of very famous figures and I have heard that the tickets have been on an auction on eBay, the price is also insanely increasing.

Eva Mendes is not the only Hollywood celebs who die for the ticket for Obama’s swearing ceremony. Her co-star in film ‘Spirit’, Scarlett Johansson is reportedly asking her director husband Ryan Reynolds, who married the actress in a quiet ceremony in September 2008, to buy her the ticket as an early Christmas present!
