Eva Longoria is so gorgeous that she has been picked in a new magazine poll as the sexiest star on US TV.

According to contactmusic.com, The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress revealed it is unbelievable that she has been topped of the list because her character in the series has been all frumpy in episodes dating back to last year.

“I think the timing for this is pretty funny actually, but also really great,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

She added, “I love that Gaby has been able to withstand time, along with the bad haircuts and all the extra pounds, and is still considered sexy.”

Her NBA star husband Tony Parker could not agree more with the magazine’s pick, “My husband thinks I’m at my sexiest the first thing in the morning. He says looking over at me as I’m waking up is his favourite thing,” said Eva.

While the sexiest male star on small screen goes to The Mentalist’s Simon Baker, whose show became a hit in 2008.

Meanwhile, Eva Longoria admitted she hates kissing anyone on screen after she had to kiss her Desperate Housewives co-tar Teri Hatcher in its forthcoming episode because she did not like being intimate with any of them on the set.

The 34-year-old stunner said in an interview for British TV show This Morning, “I still hate it, it’s really intimate. Even if it is Teri Hatcher, I hate it! It doesn’t matter who, it’s just such a personal invasion, so I find it really difficult.”

She also revealed the new plotline of Susan Mayer (played by Teri Hatcher), who goes for a lesbian relationship.

She explained, “Not with me and Teri. There’s a lesbian storyline with Teri and another actor and she comes to the girls for advice and I just have to clear things up for her.”
