Eva Longoria has been rumoured to get pregnant for quite some time but the speculation of her expecting a baby seems to be nothing when her NBA star husband Tony Parker is said he is not ready to give Eva babies.

While the Desperate Housewives actress longs to have kids, her husband seems to expect thing in the other way round.

A source close to the pair revealed, “Tony isn’t ready for a baby. He’s much younger than Eva and at the top of his profession, while Eva is in her ‘baby prime’ as she calls it. She even threatened to leave him twice before he agreed.”

The Spurs point guard was asked earlier this summer about the possibility of his wife carrying their first child, he responded, “She’s not pregnant now if that’s your question.” He added, “I’m not thinking like that right now.”

Eva Longoria gained more weight on the set of ‘Desperate Housewives’ and it suddenly sparked rumours she was expecting her first baby. She kept quiet about her pregnancy rumours for months before talking back to the media, “I wish people would just chill out. You’ll know when it happens.”

The basketball star has to rest for a while after injuring his ankle. According to pals of the couple, the 33-year-old actress wanted to take this chance to spend more time with him and maybe to sit him down for a baby talk.

“She and Tony rarely get to spend even 24 consecutive hours together. She is always in Los Angeles filming and he is San Antonio for the basketball season,” a source told the National Enquirer.

However, the pals added that Tony disappoints Eva by deciding to continue travelling with his teammates.

Tony is not ready for babies because he seems to be too obsessed with balls!
