Drew Barrymore reveals the reason that she is still single now because she cannot find herself a right guy.

The Music and Lyrics actress is set to date a man whom she finds perfect for her as she does not want to waste her time on any nonsensical relationships.

She is quoted as saying: “I believe there are no rules. I think, at a certain point something clicks, and you’re just not willing to accept or give less than what your heart desires or less than what you deserve.”

After ending her relationship with actor Justin Long last year, Drew Barrymore has vowed she will not let any men to control her life.

She said, “My priorities have changed so much. I’ve been single for months now and I’ve turned my attention toward my passions, my friends and the causes I believe in. It’s been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself.”

Meanwhile, Drew talks about her latest film ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’.

“I love all of them,” she said. “That’s what’s so great about an ensemble. Like I was watching The Big Chill the other night, and you’re just fascinated with everyone’s storyline. It’s so good and it’s such an amazing honor to be in a film with all of these people. To get a group like this together, it’s rare and extraordinary.

“Balancing the storylines to give each one equal weight was a job for the filmmakers under Barrymore’s approval. “Everything was fleshed out on purpose for a reason, and I think [producing partner Nancy Juvonen] covered a lot of bases really well without anything getting lost and all of the stories feeling extremely well interwoven without feeling like, ‘Oh, isn’t it coincidental that everybody knows everybody.’ I think her and [director] Ken [Kwapis]‘s tone was just perfect.”
