Dannii Minogue seems to have taken a lot of space in a number of online blogs this week after becoming the talk of the town regarding the X Factor. The latest interesting issue is she has split from her rugby league star boyfriend, Kris Smith!

According to the report, the pair had been in the relationship for only four months before the Australian singer decided to dump him due to a series of rows.

A friend of the 37-year-old star told The Mirror, “She is upset but says she has done the right thing by ending her relationship.”

“She’s [spent] a lot of time looking after her contestant Ruth Lorenzo and then trying to get on with her fellow judges. The last thing she needs is to be stressed by a relationship.”

Dannii might return home in Australia to take a break after the end of the latest season of The X Factor. “After the ‘X Factor’, she hopes to have a long holiday to recharge her batteries, and she may return to Oz to spend time with her family,” added the friend.

Kris Smith, who had been with Danii in London, has not travelled back to his mother’s home in Manchester and he insisted that he did not get in touch with the singer anymore.

Poor Dannii has continuously been attacked by the fellow judges on the talent shows The X Factor.

English music promoter Sharon Osbourne criticised her after she saw Dannii crying on the show and also insisted Dannii was the reason she stepped down as a judge.

“Her tears were only on live TV,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.

“There’s the perception (Dannii) is the sweetest little thing in the world but she’s not - she’s got balls of steel,” she added.

Not satisfied with what she had said, she went on to say that Minogue was a teacher’s pet to Cowell, and that her eyes “turned brown as she had her head so far up his backside”.
