Dannii Minogue has brought her rugby player boyfriend Kris Smith to Australia for the first time and introduced the sports star to her family including her sister Kylie Minogue.

The Aussie star has returned home in Melbourne, Australia to spend Christmas with her family and to introduce her boyfriend to her family members after the end of this year’s X Factor.

According to Australian media, Dannii and Kris were picked up by the singer’s father Ron after arriving in the city on Thursday night. A witness said that Dannii “couldn’t stop touching” her rugby star beau when making their way to the car.

A tabloid reported that the Dannii Minogue dumped Kris three weeks ago but the pair quickly dispelled the rumours by appearing together at an event.

The 37-year-old Australian star will now stay with her family during the holiday season before returning to work as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent in the New Year.

Meanwhile, after Dannii’s judging role on the music talent show X Factor has been rumoured to be replaced, Simon Cowell’s holiday companion Sinitta has revealed Dannii will still be working as a judge on the next series of the show.

The Eighty popstar told The Mirror that Simon Cowell, one of the judges of the show, will be inviting the Aussie back to show next year.

She said, “Dannii will come back next year. She’s been less visible backstage this year and hasn’t been hanging out. She saw a Do Not Disturb sign on Simon’s door and went away. I put it on so all the judges could hang out in peace together and get a proper feel for the show. I felt sad that she didn’t realise ‘keep out’ didn’t include her.”

Don’t know when the rumours about her getting back to the X Factor’s judging panel will end, I’m glad the New Year is coming soon.
