Charlotte Church tells OK magazine about her pregnancy that she had curry and Phil Collins as her tips when being in labour.

The Welsh-born actress welcomed her second child Dexter Lloyd in January 11 when the song ‘In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins was being played.

Charlotte said she had an iPod of her hubby Gavin Henson when she was in labour.

“I’m sure it was Phil Collins In The Air Tonight in the end,” she said.

Although she could bear with the pain of childbirth, Bryan Adams was the only thing she found so hard to cope with.

“It was funny, though, every time I had a contraction I was in so much pain then in between when I could speak I was like, ‘No, no, no, not Bryan Adams. Turn Bryan Adams off!”‘

The 22-year-old star said she had two bad starts during the weeks running up to the child birth.

“I really didn’t want to have the baby in hospital because it was so great to give birth at home last time.

“It started at about 5pm, then I went in the birthing pool and the contractions were coming quite regularly but I didn’t want to tell anyone in case it was a false alarm, so we ordered an Indian takeaway.”

Charlotte Church revealed that giving birth to her newborn boy was harder than her first baby girl Ruby.

Charlotte also added that she wanted to work on the UK TV music talents show The X Factor’s judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Dannii Minoug and Cheryl Cole although she had rows with the Girls Aloud star.

“I thought she was really good (on The X Factor). She was ballsy and stood up to the others, which I liked,” she told the glossy magazine.

“I think Cheryl’s a gorgeous girl, though, and Girls Aloud are really great – I like their music.”
