Charlotte Church and her rugby star hubby Gavin Henson welcomed their second baby on Sunday (January 11) at their home in south Wales and this time it was a boy!

The parents, who have been together for four years and already have a 13-month-old daughter Ruby, have named their newborn baby boy ‘Dexter’ who weighed 7 lbs. and 5 oz. Charlotte and the boy are “doing fine”, according to the statement.

Her website says, “Gavin and Charlotte have chosen the name Dexter for their new baby boy. In keeping with the Henson family tradition, Dexter will also have the name Lloyd as a middle name.”

The 22-year-old singer and presenter’s spokesman said on the day Dexter was born, “He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin’s home with Gavin in attendance at the birth.”

While a friend of the couple told Usmagazine.com, “They planned a home birth all along, so it was nice not to have to rush to the hospital.”

“They’re just relieved. Char was 10 days overdue and was in absolute agony in those last few days. She felt like she could burst – literally! There were no complications, but it was it was a long birth. She was in labor for about eight hours,” the friend added.

Charlotte Church, who announced she was expecting her second baby in March 2008, previously revealed she wanted at least six kids, while her rugby player hubby Gavin Henson even wanted eight!

She said, “I want all my babies by the time I’m 32 so then I can have everything done.”

The pair has also revealed that they do not have a plan to marry “any time soon”.

Congratulations to the couple and welcome a new Hollywood baby, so it’s time to let go of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s Bronx Mowgli!
