Carla Guigino will star in the upcoming drama ‘Every day’, which is directed by Richard Levine, by playing alongside with Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt.
The Broadway veteran, who has been imprinted by a hot role of angry lesbian cop with her naked appearance in the 2005 Sin City, will complete the triangle in her latest movie Every Day with a role of the mistress of Liev Schreiber, while Helen Hunt plays his disgruntled wife.
According to the reports of Variety, “Schreiber and Hunt play a married couple in turmoil as he plods along as the unsatisfied writer of a semi-pornographic TV show. Gugino play a sexy colleague who propositions him, creating a crisis that strains his marriage to the breaking point.
The ‘Every day’ is produced by Matthew Leutwyler and Miranda Bailey through Ambush Entertainment. Pic is financed through Ambush’s financing arm, Cold Iron Pictures. Ambush’s recent credits include The Squid and the Whale.”
The film, which is Richard Levine’s directing debut, is set to start shooting this month in New York.
As for Carla Guigino, since her role as Amanda in the series Entourage, her star hasn’t really risen. Thus, it is interesting to see if her role in ‘Every day’ will bring her into the talk of town again.
Carla Guigino, 37, who made her Broadway debut in 2004 in Arthur Miller’s After the Fall, became best known for her roles as Ingrid Cprtez in 2003 Spy Kids and also as a leading role of the TV series Karen and Threshold. She was nominated for 1999 Blockbuster Entertainment Award Favorite Supporting Actress and again in 2008 Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
The Italian-American star was once modeled for the prestigious Elite agency as a teenager but was unfortunately considered too short for fashion runway work.
