Britney Spears is reportedly quietly dating her longtime agent Jason Trawick, 37, according to E!

The Toxic hitmaker, who is currently being on her first tour in five years, was said to desperate to find a new man before kicking off the 44-city gig, however, she has finally found one!

Jason, a William Morris Agency rep, was even spotted joining Britney during her first four shows.

A source close to the popstar told E! that Britney and Jason have worked together for four or five years but only have “close professional relationship”, and it is “ridiculous” to suggest the pair is anything close to being “romantic.”

Accompanying Brit-Brit on the tour was not his first time as he has been to a vacation to Costa Rica and even stayed together with her at Mel Gibson’s home! However, the rumours of them being romantically linked were never confirmed.

The two were seen together again at Britney’s home state of Louisiana where he hung out with the singer and her sons.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears did not fire her dancers who were suspected of drug use.

It was reported earlier this week that the three dancers had been axed after failing drug tests.

A source told the Daily Mirror, “Because of Britney’s past personal problems she now requires more insurance for her Circus tour than before.”

“It’s a very rigorous process protecting all of those assets. Backstage her dad is beyond strict and rightfully so. He only wants the best for Britney.”

Another source told US TV show Access Hollywood, “none of the dancers have been fired nor have there been any failed drug tests.”

Madonna surprisingly appeared on Britney’s gig on Wednesday in New York.

“Britney was thrilled to have her there!” read a message on Spears’ Web site.

Britney is set to perform today in Newark, New Jersey.
