Beyonce Knowles threw away a chance to ride the private jet which has carried Elton John, Frank Sinatra and Jennifer Lopez across the world after she refused the ride offered to her.
The five Grammy Awards winning singer turned down the jet offer which would fly from Liverpool EMA’s to Monte Carlo in Monaco for the World Music Awards event, claiming she was already offered a brand new £30million plane.
A Mile High source said, “We tried to convince Beyonce [Knowles] it was newly refurbished and told her Ol’ Blue Eyes, Elton and J.Lo had used it, but she suggested they got one of the newer fleet.
“She also wanted 14 seats, including two for herself. And staff were told to give her whatever she wanted – including an Xbox, PSP, Jacuzzi and a pizza,” added the source.
Beyonce Knowles did rock the stage in the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo when she impressively performed ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)’. She was very sexy wearing tight fitting black pants and somewhat spelled all the spectators.
Meanwhile, the R&B diva revealed in the Daily Telegraph that she was slapped by her mum in public when she was 19 because she thought she was a hot stuff.
Beyonce said, We were in the record store, my mom and dad were both there, and my song was playing, and I was feeling like hot stuff. She was asking me something and I started singing while she was talking to me. And there were some really cute guys in the store who were noticing me, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah! I’m hot!’ And my mom said, ‘I’m talking to you’. And I kept singing. And so she smacked me – slapped me in my face, so hard.”
The 27-year-old star continued, “And my dad said, ‘What are you doing?’ Because I didn’t get spankings growing up. They didn’t believe in that. My mom says, ‘She thinks she’s hot stuff ‘cos her single is out. Nobody cares about that! You are still my child. I brought you into this world, I can take you out of it! Now go sit in the car’. But it was the best thing she could have ever done to me because for the first time I realized I was losing sight of what was important.”
Wow how cool you were, Beyonce’s mummy!
