Avril Lavigne is reportedly protected by her fellow singer husband Deryck Whibley from oil heir Brandon Davis, a drunken jackass and Paris Hilton’s former boyfriend.

Brandon Davis has been scarred off by the punk singer’s rocker husband Deryck after he has threatened the oil baron with a phone message saying, “Stay away from my wife.”

Paris’ ex-beau is quite infamous among celebs and he used to date Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan, who is now in relationship with her DJ girl pal Samantha Ronson. Avril’s rocker husband was angry when he found out that his wife went for dinner wit Brandon.

However, Avril is reportedly trying to comfort Deryck according to a source.

“Avril assured Deryck that it was a business dinner about art, since Brandon also makes a living as an art broker. Deryck trusts his wife, it’s just Brandon he doesn’t trust,” said the source.

Avril Lavigne, 24, and Deryck Whibley, 28, both Canadian, have been rumoured about a problem of their married life. Avril fuelled the rumours of her marriage being in trouble when she was seen at actor Jamie Foxx’s birthday party without her hubby to be seen. That also sparked the rumours of the couple’s split.

However, the Girlfriend hitmaker kind of dispelled all the rumours and implicitly confirmed their healthy marriage when she was spotted refusing alcohol on a night out, which means she could be expecting their first baby after two years of their marriage.

The singer, who was snapped pictures of her baby bump, was noticed drinking only soft drinks on her night out at Coco De Ville.

Avril and Deryck started dating in 2004 and became engaged in June 27, 2005 before their wedding ceremony in 2006 at private estate in Montecito, California. When asked about having babies, they said, “not right now but somewhere down the road.”
