Avril Lavigne might have to dye her hair and playing with mascara on her eyelashes alone since the Canadian rock singer and her producer husband, Deryck Whibley, are reported to head for the divorce courts after their marriage in 2006.

Despite the fact that Avril, 24, and Deryck, 28, have been married for two years but had no children yet, they are currently likely to divorce due to the wider distance gap between both of them.

The Complicated and Girlfriend singer kicked off her world tour earlier this year and while the prince charming Deryck Whibley was spotted holding hands at an LA event with an unknown woman, and this probably resulted in the rumour of their divorce.

“They have been growing apart for months,” said a source.

The growing distance takes it toll on both Avril Lavigne and the Sum 41 frontman since Avril has been put in the fame-list whereas Deryck seems to gradually fade out from the fame.

A source added, “They have been growing apart for months. Deryck isn’t motivated in his own career, so he’s been drinking and partying.”

On Avril’s right wrist is a tiny pink heart-shaped tattoo with the letter D, let’s see if she soon is going to change it to something else or even remove it from her body.

This can obviously prove that those celebrities are just like ordinary people, we ‘nobody’ usually experience a ‘distance gap’ problem as we cannot afford plane tickets to fly to see each other so often, just like some celebrity couples ‘somebody’ who also suffer from the same problem although they can surely afford the travel expenses.
