Ashlee Simpson and her Fall Out Boy star hubby Pete Wentz have revealed a picture of their first child Bronx for the first time on Christmas.
The new parents showed off the picture of their one-month-old boy on Pete’s web site with some wishes for friends.
“Happy Holidays to all of our friends! Love Pete, Ashlee and Bronx,” the holiday e-card reads.
The couple writes, “We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldn’t be happier. And in the spirit of the holidays, we’d like to encourage you to give on your own.”
However, if you guys still remember the rumours of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz trying to sell the first picture of the boy, some said it could be sold for $2 million while others said they were desperate to sell it to any magazines as the picture did not seem to make the covers sell well.
Pete wrote on his blog a couple of weeks ago, saying he and his wife did not want to sell the pictures of their son.
“Truth is like every celeb couple we were offered mounds and mounds of money by mags from here to Guam to pimp out the baby. We just don’t want to go down that road with him.”
“We are not placing judgment on those that do as they often use the money in a very charitable way. However, we have made the decision to not sell Bronx’s baby pictures right now.”
“There is a danger when there are cameras being held over walls and into our backyard. We are followed day and night and that was fine when it was us but we are going to do our best to shelter Bronx from that as much as possible.“
Alright alright, I will keep it in my mind that it was not because the pictures could not be sold but Pete just did not feel like selling them.
