Ashlee Simpson just welcomed her first child Bronx Mowgil on November 20 with her rocker husband Pete Wentz, followed by rumours that the new parents will earn $2 million for the special first photos for the baby boy.

The 23-year-old singer and her husband is another star couple who allows the media to get their baby photos and receive a large amount of money in return.

U.S. publicist Howard Bragman said, “I see Ashlee and Pete coming in at the low seven figures mark. Two million seems like a good, solid figure for Ashlee and Pete. It’s a two-celeb couple, so that’s a boost for them.”

He continued, “Keep in mind, last year, Ashlee was the girl who sang along to the tape recorder. It was a PR nightmare. Now, she’s a newlywed and a new mom, so she’s a lot more relatable.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt sold the first photos of their newly born twins for $20 million and gave the money to the charity. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden earned 1 million from photos of baby girl Harlow. Jamie Lynn Spears, who is a sister of Britney Spears, also received $1 million for photos of daughter Maddie.

As for the name of the baby boy, Pete revealed he and his wife are big fans of ‘The Jungle Book’ but refused to talk about the inspiration of the name.

Pete said: “‘The Jungle Book’ was something that me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s a cool name.”

“We came up with the idea Bronx. We’ve been throwing ideas back and forth a while. People are stoked or angry whatever. And you’re like, you know what - I don’t think anyone really has the real story,” he added to US radio host Ryan Seacrest.

The proud father also revealed the minute Ashlee went into labour that he was “having a heart attack”.

He explained, “My heart started beating real fast. You see your wife is in all this pain. And I don’t know what’s happening right now. She took care of me and made sure I was OK and then went into labour. That’s why she’s a saint.”
