Anne Hathaway is planning to take her father Gerard Hathaway out for a date on Oscar night.

The 26-year-old Hollywood actress, who is nominated for 2009 Oscar for her role in hit movie ‘Rachel Getting Married’, will take her family to witness her success in this year’s Oscars ceremony which will be held on February 22 at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre.

As being a good daughter, her father and mother are supposed to be the most important persons who she wants to share the delighting moment with on the hottest ceremony of the year.

Anne Hathaway revealed about her Oscar date with her family at the 81st Annual Academy Awards Nominees Lunch in Beverly Hills, “I’m taking my dad. Hopefully, if I can squeeze a few more tickets I’m going to see if I can take my brother and my mom.”

I hope she can get tickets for her lovely family, she deserves to let them absorb the happy hours with her.

The Princess Diaries star also added the Oscar ceremony is really important to her because it is her first time that she has been named one of the Oscar nominees.

She said, “This is my first, maybe my only, time going. Hopefully not! My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I definitely wanted them by my side.”

Anne, who split with her ex Raffaello Follieri in June 2008, was last week expected to take her current boyfriend Adam Shulman to the ceremony.

She is such a nice daughter and a gorgeous actress!

While Anne needs two more tickets, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt must be struggling for more six if their kids demand to share their parents’ success.

Let the twins stay at home, they will more enjoy cartoon TV than the bloody Oscar!
