Anne Hathaway reveals she almost lost her temper over a paparazzo after he said homophobicaly offensive words about her elder brother. She even almost punched him!

The incident happened when the Princess Diaries star and her elder brother Michael, who is a homosexual, were together at the airport – not long after she broke up with her criminal beau Raffaello Follieri.

Anne, 26, reveals she had to hold her punch after being warned the foul-mouthed photographer would have caused her a trouble.

She says, “There was one time, just after Raffaello and I had broken up, and before he was arrested. I was at LA airport and there was a price on my head for a paparazzi photo of me crying.

“I was with my elder brother checking into security and one of the paparazzi said to me: ‘Anne, is your brother a fag? Is your brother a fag, Anne?’ And I turned around to punch him, but everyone around me just held me and said, ”No, if you react to this now you are simply putting money in his pocket’.

“And they basically pushed me through the line and got me to a place where I could burst into tears.”

Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway, was unintentionally smacked by fellow actress Kate Hudson across the face on a set of ‘Bride Wars’.

The Devil Wears Prada actress explained, “Did you notice Kate’s enormous wedding ring in the movie? Imagine, surrounded in a cloud of tulle, Kate Hudson’s hand with the 9.000 carat diamond coming out and smacking you across the face and staying in character.”

Hudson added, “It was not intentional. I hit her and I went, ‘Oh God’, and she’s like, ‘No, I’m fine, keep going.’

“And then I saw Annie sitting in a chair with an ice pack!”

Ouch, that must have been really hurt!
