Anna Kournikova to visit military schoolchildren in Guam

Anna Kournikova has visited military schoolchildren in Guam on USO tour. She left the US on October 27 and is set to return on November 1.

The semi-retired Russian professional tennis player will educate the young students about how important nutrition and fitness is. She will also show her support to service members and their families.

The 27-year-old model/tennis star will speak with teenagers about tour local military bases, military life and her travelling experiences.

Anna Kournikova was born in Moscow and later migrated to the US. She was ranked in the World’s No 1 player and won Grand Slam titles in 1999 and 2002. The Russian hottie, who has been spokemodels for K-Swiss, Inc. and Yonex, said she wants to give back to the community.

“Spending time with kids is something I’ve always enjoyed. I am very excited about my upcoming USO tour to Guam as it allows me a unique opportunity – the chance to not only talk to my very favorite audience, today’s youth, but also thank them for their dedication,” said Anna.

Anna Kournikova started playing tennis at the age of five and she quickly turned professional she was only 14 years old. She is the youngest player in the history who joins and even wins a Fed Cup match and played remarkably by beating a number of powerhouses like Martina Hingis, Monica Seles, Steffi Graff and Jennifer Capriati. Due to winning two Grand Slam titles, Anna is dubbed a queen on court.

Anna is currently living in Miami Beach, Florida and occasionally plays in some exhibitions and in doubles for the St. Louis Aces of World Team Tennis.

Although she has been taken place by Maria Sharapova on the tennis court, Anna is still famous and she is said to be considered a sex symbol.
