Angelina Jolie, who is nominated for 2009 Oscar for a best actress for the movie ‘Changeling’, will be rooting for her actor husband Brad Pitt, who is also one of the 2009 Oscar nominees, on Oscar night.
The 33-year-old Hollywood beauty and mother to six children said during an interview for Nightline’s weeklong Oscar series, “I feel, for an actress, if you’ve ever done that in your career, it’s nice.
“Many people have had great careers and never won. I think you have to have your head around you to understand what certain things are, as much as they’re nice … it shouldn’t make you feel differently about your work.”
On Oscar night, Angelina Jolie, who revealed “it’s lovely” to be nominated for this year’s Oscar, said “I’m rooting for Brad,” who is also nominated for best actor for ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.
The Tomb Raider actress, who won an Academy Award for her supporting role for ‘Girl, Interrupted’ in 2000, also said she does not like watching the movies she has played but she loves “to watch Brad’s movies.”
Angelina also desires to dedicate her time to her kids more than to her Hollywood acting career.
She said, “I don’t want to wake up one day and say I had my career that expanded so much longer and I did that many more films and miss out on all those other things in life.”
Asked what her focus in life these days, the stunner replied, “I’d say kids first … [being a] woman to Brad and then my work internationally and being a kind of … trying to educate myself and trying to learn about the world and … trying to do some good things while I’m alive.”
Wooo, I do adore this family, they are super cool!
