Angelina Jolie has topped an annual list of the biggest salary for actresses in Hollywood after she could earn $15million a film.

The second place goes to the Notting Hills star Julia Roberts after being away from the screen for quite some time, earning over $15 million for movie ‘Duplicity’ which will be released next year.
Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, who was on the top of the last year’s list after she won an Oscar for 2005 ‘Walk the Line’, claimed the No 3 this year. The 32-year-old star made $14 million for her performance in ‘Four Christmases’ which is being released.
Angelina Jolie, who has starred in ‘Changeling’, earned $15million from ‘Wanted’ and her pay-out might be increased to $20million for a sequel.
Other female celebs on the list are Cameron Diaz, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, who made $8 for comedy ‘Marley and Me’, which will be released on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, Angelina and her actor husband Brad Pitt have recently given $100,000 to Global Action for Children as early Christmas gift.
Jennifer Delaney, the GAC’s executive director, said in an email to supporters, “We are honored by and greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt Family’s continued commitment to Global Action for Children and our efforts to serve orphans and the most highly vulnerable children living in poverty.”
In 2006, the star couple also donated 1 million to the GAC.
“This generous gift comes at a critical time – a time in which the global economic crisis threatens survival of programs benefiting children most in need.” the GAC’s executive director added. “We hope this large gift from the Jolie-Pitt’s will inspire you to consider giving an end of year gift as well.”
