Alicia Keys was spotted sitting down and reluctantly applauding when Beyonce was performing on a stage at the 2008 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (November 23).

I happened to see footage of American R&B/soul singer Alicia and one of her friend who was next to Queen Latifah not standing up and taking Beyonce’s wonderful performance for granted, while everybody was on their feet and looked quite impressed. Did Alicia Keys have any problem with her shoes or maybe with Beyonce!?!?!?

No one knows why Alicia had to ignore her fellow singer but some say it is because of the Grammy competition back in October which Alicia won and another reason is their similar looks are usually compared.

Could it be another catfight after the event?

However at this 36th Annual American Music Awards, the multi-talented Grammy Award-winner has proved before everyone’s eye that she is truly a ‘Superwoman’.

Alicia Keys earned two honourable awards including ‘Favorite Soul/R&B Album’ and ‘Favorite Pop/Rock Album,’ ending up 2008 show with her dazzling performance of ‘Superwoman’.

Her performance was joined by famous opera singer Kathleen Battle and actress/singer Queen Latifah.
